What is Farm Share:
FarmShare is a partnership between vegetable eaters and the farm, where the customer pays in advance for a share of the certified organic garden. Then, their share is either picked-up or delivered each week for 20 weeks (June 15 - Oct 31). Just like in an ordinary garden, not all vegetables are available at the same time; you will receive what is available each week as a portion of your share. While you do not get to choose the contents of the box, achieving a good balance of greens, root vegetables and flavour-enhancing items is a top priotity. When you sign up for a share, you are supporting your local farmer by providing a steady market for the fruits and vegetables that they are growing and helping with planting costs. In return, you and your family are able to try new vegetables, learn to eat with the local growing season and receive fresh food fresh directly from the farm. Read more about the Farmshare Process

Feb 3/12 Is the idea of trying new vegetables slightly intimidating for you? This year we are compiling a reference guide to help you identify vegetables, know how to clean and store them, and give you some preparation ideas. If you have some helpful tips or original recipes to share, please email info@zephyrorganics.com and lend a hand to your fellow Farm Share members.
Jan 4/12 Registrations for 2012 Farm Share begin! Please note that you now have the option of weekly or biweekly delivery and the larger whole share size incorporates more ethnic and novelty items (ie. kale, baby bok choy, okra, etc.), while the half share consists of more conventional veggies.
Dec 30/11 Registration is just days away from opening up now. New this year is the option to choose a biweekly box (a good choice for two family members) and more options are to come!
